Overview
Changu Narayan is an ancient Hindu temple located on a high hilltop in the Bhaktapur District. It is the oldest temple in the Kathmandu Valley and is rich in history, art, and culture. The temple is surrounded by champak trees and is dedicated to Lord Vishnu. The stone, metal, and wood carvings here are considered the finest of their kind in Nepal.
